Maya Weinstock is a 17-year-old multidisciplinary artist from Maplewood, NJ, who believes that art is everywhere and can be anything, with inspiration sprouting from any and all mediums. Influenced by societal perspectives of gender, the delicate balance between mental health and well-being, and her own hunger for self-expression, Maya’s pieces are imbued with a strong sense of purpose, a little whimsy, and a fair of amount of raw discomfort. Through her creativity, Maya strives to forge a bond with her viewer, even if that viewer is simply her future self.
